Skitch Love

Yes, we get a lot of Skitch love from fans. We consistently hear positive feedback about the UI design, simple/fast workflow and frankly, praise for the “fun factor.” Mac users love Skitch and are very vocal about this fact.  We’ll try to remain humble as we launch Skitch from Beta to a Full Version 1.0 release. (but we do want to win another Apple Design Award, hint hint.) Of course with a program as popular as Skitch we’ve also heard, almost daily, “when will Skitch be available for Windows?”

We definitely sympathize with Windows users who want an image editing tool that’s as easy and as fast as Skitch. After all, capturing an image is only part of the workflow. Having Skitch on a Windows machine to capture, edit, upload to a web server and instantly share images with others is one of our goals. Image collaboration regardless of the type of computer you use (including mobiles) should be easy and take no more than a few seconds to edit and share a captured image with anyone.

We’re not announcing a Skitch.exe just yet, but if you or your friends have a Windows PC, there is nothing stopping you from using Skitch.com as an image host and sharing hub.
