Skitch Lexicon

Skitch was born in February of 2007 and the search for the right product name had taken a long time. It was important to make the name unique, brand-able, closely tied to the functionality of the product and of course, very fun. It just wouldn’t be a plasq product if it was no fun to pronounce as well as to use.

We decided that Skitch was the best term, because it adhered to all of our requirements, but it also makes a *GREAT* verb. You can use the Skitch term in many ways and early in this blog’s life we outlined some of our favorites.  However, people keep inventing new terms that we hadn’t already thought of, so this page is now dedicated to the Skitch terms that our friends invent. You can submit your own ideas for new terms by sending messages to @Skitch on Twitter. Enjoy!
